Aburihene Otoobour Gyan Kwasi II Mother Dies at 108

Chief of the Aburi Traditional Area, Otoobour Gyan Kwasi II, with a heavy heart announces the sudden demise of his beloved mother Abrewatia Victoria Abena Anoffowa.

A statement issued by the Public Affairs Secretariat of Otoobour’s Palace indicated that Abrewatia Anoffowa, who was 108-years before joining her ancestors, died on December 29, after a short illness.

Abrewatia Victoria Abena Anoffowa, was the mother of Otoobuor Djan Kwasi II, a Paramount Chief of Aburi and Adontenhene of Akuapem, who also serve as Acting President of the Akuapem Traditional Council.

Funeral arrangements for the late Abrewatia Anoffowa, according to the family, will be communicated later.

As the moment, the Aburi community and the whole of Akuapim for that matter, have joined heads together to mourn with Otoobour and the rest of the family.
