Deprived Boamang Community cries for Infrastructural assistance

The People of Boamang, a deprived community in the Afigya Kwabre North District are in the mood of anguished due to bad toilet facility and water problem in the area, which is so devastating.

Though the community has three toilet facilities, yet structures of these said facilities are so bad and at the verge of collapsing which serves as a death threat to the people of Boamang.

According to Mr. Isaac Acheampong who is the Assemblyman of the area, the NGO’s in the community thought of building toilets and water facilities for them, but until now, nothing assuring has been done to inspire them or build their hope of securing development in Boamang.

Adding that, he personally tried so hard to solve the problems on the ground which includes poor water supply system, though the community have three pipes to supply the people of Boamang, but his effort was not enough to handle the situation.

The situation of Boamang community is nothing to write home about and huge embarassment to the Afigya Kwabre North District, especially when visitors come to the area. He said.

The people of Boamang therefore calls on government to remember them in it infrastructural development projects, as other communities benefit.
