Tension Mounts Ejisu-Apromase over missing Regalia
In a search for a missing regalia, the Elders of Ejisu-Apromase Traditional Council have threatened to drag the Chief of the area, Nana Brobbey, to Otumfour Osei Tutu II, to enable them find the stool regalia which was allegedly dug by Nana Brobbey.
The family head, literary known as Abusuapanin, Nana Amankwah, told this Reporter that the community is sitting on timed bomb which will soon explode, if the regalia is not found any time soon.
According to him, Nana Brobbey and few elders of the area, secretly dug the regalia which they believe is the spirit of the community, from the old palace, and any failure to retrieve the missing regalia could spell doom for the community.
Nana Brobbey, according to the Abusuapanin, agreed digging the items but alleged to have found empty bottles instead of the regalia, which suddenly raised some doubts.
Speaking to some residents of Ejisu-Apromase, they bemoaned the actions of the chief and expressed fear and panics in the ongoing tension mounted on the community, and the expected calamities which will befall innocent people of the area, since tradition forbids the actions of Nana Brobbey.
“The wrath of the gods will not forgive the community when something is not done immediately”. The residents lamented.
