Amansie West District Community Police Threatens to Beat YEA Coordinator Over 12-Months Unpaid Salary


Beneficiaries of the Youth Employment Authority (YEA) who worked as Police Protecting Assistant in Amansie West District, are calling on authorities of YEA for a settlement over their twelve months unpaid salaries to avoid any unexpected occurrence.

According to them, each beneficiaries of the Community Police Assistant under the Youth Employment Authority is expected to be paid after their dedicated service as Community Assistant to the Ghana Police, but they haven’t received anything in a whole year.

These aggrieved Community Police Assistants are using this medium to tell the President Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo and the YEA boss to ensure that they also get what is due them, with regards to their twelve months outstanding salaries.

Indicating that every efforts made through their District Cordinator concerning their unpaid salaries have proven futile and they believe it is time they take some action against their insensitive leadership to be able to retrieve their money.

“We have been told our money is been paid to us by the government, but our YEA boss has decided not to release the money to us”. They alleged.
