No Deputies for Regional Ministers; As Akufo-Addo cuts down the size of his Gov’t

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has on Thursday January 21, presented to Parliament the first list of Ministers designated for the various ministries and Sixteen (16) Regional ministers for vetting and approval.

The President, in a statement indicated that sixteen (16) out of the Fourty-six (46) will be Regional Ministers, with Thirty (30) others being appointed as Ministers.

The first lists of names submitted to Parliament for vetting and approval consist of Eight (8) women designated for the various Ministries , with two other women as Regional Ministers.

According to a statement from the Communications Directorate of the Jubilee House, the President Akufo-Addo, has decided that there will be no Deputy Regional Ministers in his second term of government.
