A 49 year old man, Mr. Ofori Gaga, has shockingly been captured sharing condom to electorates during election.

The man, who was captured by this reporter at Abensenase Palace polling station(Mamponteng) in the Abensenase electoral area within the Kwabre east constituency of the Ashanti region, was seen sharing the condoms to election officers, polling agents as well as electorates.

Disclosing his motive behind the move, Mr Gaga said condoms were not the only items he had shared but there were other things like biscuits, bottled water, soft drinks amongst others he had shared.

The Nungua resident who visited the Abensenase electoral area, was actually on a mission to observe the electoral processes of the Ashanti region and to also make an assessment from what he has been witnessing in the Greater Accra region.

According to Mr. Gaga, giving election officers condoms, is a sign of wishing them a long life and to protect them from unexpected diseases in order for them to stay happily to be able to supervise many elections to come.
