Hon Mahama Ayariga Dissociates Himself From all Negative Media Against Martin Amidu
I wish to dissociate myself from all negative publication being put out on various media
platforms concerning matters that Mr Martin Amidu, Special Prosecutor, is looking into in which I have been mentioned.
I have not granted any interview to any journalist nor instructed anyone to say or do anything in relation to Mr Martin Amidu and his investigations.
I have maintained my silence in this matter since it became public.
My silence is out of respect for Mr. Martin Amidu as a father elevated to the high office of Special Prosecutor, a relationship he himself has publicly acknowledged.
An investigation is an investigation.
There is a binding legal duty to cooperate with lawful investigations. Naturally, I appreciate all well wishers and thank them for their concern and sympathy but I urge caution.
Hon. Mahama Ayariga (MP)
