Strengthening the Grassroot; Carlos Ahenkorah assists Over 300 Polling Station Executives with Interest FREE Loans

As part of efforts to strengthen the grassroots to ensure victory for NPP in the 2020 general elections, Member of Parliament for Tema West Constituency and Deputy Minister for Trade and industry, Hon. Carlos Kingsley Ahenkorah, has established an interest FREE loan scheme to assist polling station executives who are into trading to expand their businesses.

Hon. Ahenkorah, through his efforts and good working relationship with business associates, managed to establish this Loan scheme to help party members of Tema West Constituency, as part of fulfilling his campaign promise of teaching constituents how to fish, rather than giving them fish.

The interest FREE soft loan which was disbursed to all polling station executives in the Constituency, has benefited over Three Hundred (300) station executives to boost their businesses.

During the distribution process, Gh¢ 10,000 was allocated to each of the Nineteen (19) electoral area Coordinators and One (1) Nasara Coordinator, for onward disbursement to applicants.

Records from the Constituency is evident that there has not been a single Member of Parliament (MP) who has been able to selflessly assist party members, particularly polling station executives in the history of Tema West Constituency, as Hon. Carlos Ahenkorah has done and still doing.

This is a clear evidence of his love for the NPP and his unwavering commitments to his Constituents, where he has been able to establish the Tema West Loan Scheme with a seed fund of Two hundred thousand Ghana cedis(Gh¢ 200,000) which is equivalent to Two Billion old Cedis.
