The Accra High Court is expected to continue the trial of Dr. Stephen Opuni, former CEO of COCOBOD and Businessman Mr. Seidu Agongo today, after two months of legal vacation.

At the last adjournment, Counsel for Dr. Stephen Opuni commenced cross examination of the second prosecution witness, Dr. Franklin Amoah, Executive Director of Cocoa Research Institute Ghana (CRIG), and it is expected that cross examination will continue today.

Dr. Opuni and Mr. Seidu Agongo have been dragged to court by the State for allegedly entering into a suspicious fertilizer contract, that allegedly caused financial loss to the State.
