Court Adjourns Midland Case

An Accra Circuit Court presided over by His Honour, M.E. Essandoh has adjourned the Midland Case involving a police officer, to 26th September, 2018.

This is because the substantive judge presiding over the case is on leave, and the judge relieving her is to only attend to urgent matters on the case until her return.

Meanwhile Counsel for the second Accused person, prayed the Court to order the prosecution to provide him with the charge sheet and the facts.

The Court ordered that the prosecution provide the charge sheet and the facts of the case to Counsel for the second Accused.

Frederick Amanor and three others, have been charged with assault and abetment of assault after the circulation of a video showing a nursing mother being assaulted by a police officer at a branch of Midland Savings and Loans Limited.
