2 Busted for Stealing 15 Sheeps, 7 Goats

The Suhum Police has arrested two suspected robbers this morning at Suhum Asuboi in Ayensuano district of the Eastern region.

The two robbers namely Kwame Henry, a 32- year-old from Akyem Abomosu and Abu from Accra, is said to have stolen 15 sheeps and 7 goats from Kade.

They were actually three (3) men, using a Toyota Hyundai car with registration number GR 8996-N for their operation.

These suspected robbers quickly turned their car immediately they saw the police patrol team, led by Corporal Alex Agyei.

But were chased into the bush by the patrol team upon a tipoff and unfortunately, two (2) of these three (3) men were arrested while one managed to escape.

The two were seriously beaten by the people of the town who aided the police in their arrest.

As at now, the two are at the Suhum Government hospital for treatment. The Suhum Police Commander Chief Supt. Joseph Owusu, confirmed to the media.
