Swansea City’s relegation heartbreak leaves Ayew brothers future in Tatters

The future of brothers Andre and Jordan Ayew have been thrown off radar following the heartbreak relegation of Swansea City from the English Premier League.

Stoke City put the nail on the coffin after beating the Swans 2-1 at the Liberty stadium to confirm their relegation from top-flight of English football.

The Swans needed to beat Stoke and hope that result between Southampton and Manchester City goes their way on the final day of the league.

The Welsh-based side had a dream start as Andy King showed brilliant composure to connect to Andre Ayew’s pass inside the box to fire into the bottom left corner to hand his side the lead in the 14th minute.

However, goals from Senegalese international Pape Ndiaye and Peter Crouch were enough for the Potters, who were relegated last week, to win the match 2-1

Andre re-joined Swansea City after struggling at West Ham United with a  view of helping the side escape the drop.

The Ghana deputy captain showed glimpses of his quality in his initial games for the side but flattered to deceive subsequently.

The future of the two Ghanaian brothers have been thrown wide opened following the relegation of the two sides.

Given the reputation of the two players, its unclear if they will accept to play in the second-tier of English football.
