Gospel Artists of today are Lazy-Kwame Asomah
Gospel musician Kwame Asomah, has jabbed and described artists of today who are into the gospel music as Lazy, copycats and lacks the talent in preaching the gospel through music.
Speaking to Odiyifo Yaw Charles on “Homeda Akwangya” on ASSPA radio, kwame Asomah said most of the gospel songs by these artists are not of creativity but rather copy, cut and paste.
According to him, most gospel musicians are too lazy, they are not creative and do not research, but only pick songs done by other veterans, change the rhythms and some of the words, and then reproduce.
The Seventh Day Adventist musicians, He said, do not do that, because the Adventist musicians are creative and good at writing and composing.
According to the gospel sensation, live worship currently, has also been one of the major problem for these recent artists, due to the difficulties they find themselves in writing and composing their own songs.
“Most of the songs which are performed on stage by gospel musicians are old songs written by veterans, but the circular musicians do not portray such behaviour”. He added.
