The Member of Parliament for Ningo Prampram Constituency, Hon. Sam George has cautioned the Finance Minister, Mr. Ken Ofori Atta to stop deceiving the Ghanaian populace by promising what he doesn’t have and should also stop behaving like a 6 year old boy who cannot cater for himself, yet promising a girl of marriage in the future.

According to the Ningo Prampram Legislature, Mr. Ken Ofori Atta can come to Parliament with a well constructed scriptures and even have the guts to quote Philippians 4 vrs 19, He (Sam George), will also quote him Leviticus 19 vs 11, which also says “Thou shall not lie”.

“The Minister is behaving like a young boy who’s 6 years old in class one, who promises a girl that I will marry you when I grow up. Obviously, we know that if God spares that child’s life, will grow up and marry when she’s of age. But at this point in time, he’s still depending on his parents and cannot stand on his own”

“You don’t have what it takes, and you are promising what you don’t have. How can you promise something you don’t have? The Minister has done zero, he has promised a Hundred per cent of what he doesn’t have”

He made these statements in an interview with the media on his accession in the 2018 Budget statement and Economic Policy, which was presented to Parliament on November 15, 2017.

He also accused President Akufo-Addo for not being truthful to Ghanaians by fulfilling most of his promises, stating that, the President promised to provide about Fifty One (51) factories by the end of October, yet have still not been fulfilled as 2017 is elapsing.

“The Ghana card was launched by the President Nana Addo on the 15th of September, 2017. I’m telling you that ever the “Number two Man” of the land, Dr. Bawumia and the Minister of Communication, Hon. Ursula Owusu Ekuful do no have the cards”. He stated emphatically.

According to Hon. Sam George, if the Minister comes to say and shamefully add to his 2018 budget that, under the Akufo-Addo project for economic transformation, they are going to build 75 green houses in Dawhenya Irrigation plan, it a concocted lies.

He said, Dawhenya is in his constituency and this same project which the Minister claimed in his budget, is the same contract awarded under the YES fund by Former President John Mahama in 2016 for GH¢4.6 million.

“The contractor has finished building all the 75 houses, it is actually 74 green houses and a nursery. The project has already been completed, Manama has completed that plan and you are here claiming credits”. He added.
