NLA cautions Public against “banker to banker” Operators
In a press statement signed by the Authorities of the National Lottery Authority, it has indicated that, the public must be wary of the banker to banker agents and stakers in the system, which they believe it’s illegal.
The director general, Hon Kofi Osei Ameyaw stated emphatically that, they banker to banker agents have some “dubious” means of defrauding the public, hence, appealing to them [banker to banker] stakers to channel through the appropriate measures to fully register with NLA for better operation.
“The banker to banker agents must register properly with the NLA to be able to operate legal, the fact that you picked forms from the NLA does not guarantee your permit to do things in the name of NLA and bully the public, we urge you to register fully”. He lamented.
Mr. Osei in his submission added that, the NLA has instituted measures including NLA police and legal aid to apprehend any one found guilty of the law, especially the banker to banker operators.
Finally, he appealed to the public to avoid staking lotto with unwarranted entities in the society in order to avoid risking their lives,” even if you win, these [banker to banker] people can sometimes run away with your money and at times fails to pay you”. He reiterated.
