As part of the measures put in place by the NPP led administration in order to tackle corruption in the country, each government Appointee in the current administration has been made to declare assets even before assuming office. 

Speaking in an interview on Angel TV’s flagship morning show, the deputy Minister of Information, Hon. Kojo Oppong Nkrumah disclosed that, appointees have already declared assets even before they were being approved by Parliament.

The Minister who doubles as the Member of Parliament for Ofoase Ayirebi constituency, Kojo Oppong-Nkrumah further added that, the Independent Prosecutor when approved by Parliament would have the mandate of investigating and prosecuting offenders.

President Nana Akuffo Addo since assuming about six months ago has consistently reiterated his commitment to fight corruption in the country. He added.
