Let’s mark father’s day as mother’s day is celebrated – Nana Nimfour to Ghanaians

Ahead of Father’s day celebration, the Former Nkɔsoɔhene of Goaso Traditional Council who is also 2015 Municipal Best Farmer in the Brong Ahafo Region, Nana Nimfour has call on Ghanaians to give the requisite treatment to fathers as they do for mothers especially on fathers day.

Speaking to Newslinegh.com today ahead of fathers day celebration which is scheduled for Sunday, the Nkɔsoɔhene expressed worried on how Ghanaian’s celebrate their fathers compare to mothers.

“Have we forgotten fathers are the head of the family and need to be treated with maximum respect? If not for anything, they brought us to this word and deserve equal treatment as we do for our mothers”.

It is really sad how we celebrate our father as compare to mother’s day celebration” he bemoaned.
