Ayawaso Chief Husziler Installed
As part of its efforts to facilitate skill development and educate the Zongo youth on illegal migration, members of the Zongo in Diaspora have installed Abdul Rahman Abdullai Dabre as the Ayawaso sub Chief of Huszilers and Abdullai Ibrahim as Galadima to coordinate the activities of the Huszilers Foundation in the Greater Accra Region.
The foundation would help reduce illegal migration which has resulted in the loss of lives through the Mediterranean Sea.
Addressing the gathering in Accra, the paramount Chief of Huszilers.
Foundation, a non-governmental and non-profitable organization operating in Ghana and Europe, Chief Amadu Ibrahim Babagida advised the youth to desist from using short cut route to enter any European soil.
He stated that so many lives have been lost through the short cut route to Europe and America in search of greener pastures, adding that the foundation would ensure that youth would be educated on the need to use proper way in going to Europe.
He said its high time the youth are giving the necessary skills training which will prepare them for today’s job market, nothing in life can be achieved without skills training and that is why the foundation has taken it upon itself to help the youth in any form of skills training of their choice.
Chief Babagida revealed that, the organization has come to stay and would do it’s possible best to ensure that the youth reap the benefits of the organization.
He assured that Huszilers Chief of Ayawaso would not over shadow the duty and responsibility of other Chiefs in the community but rather cooperate with all chiefs to ensure total development of the communities.
On his part, the newly installed Chief, Abdul Rahman Abdullai Dabre also assured the entire subjects of his full support for the skill development program in the Zongo communities.
Other members selected include Abdul Samad Kumbasie as Chairman,
Jamal Zerkie secretary, Mohammed Hudu Ataruwa Organizer and Alhaji Abdul Aziz Ibrahim Deputy Organizer.
