Faithful Club of Asante Kotoko Chairman elected as DCE

The Chairman of Faithful Club of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Hon. Paul Asamoah has been elected as District Chief Executive (DCE) of Akyemansa District in the Eastern Region.

Hon. Paul Asamoah who was the 2016 NPP Campaign Coordinator for Ofaoase Ayirebi constituency and now the District Chief Executive of Akyemansa District recorded hundred percent of endorsement from the assembly members of the district.

All the Thirty six Assembly Members and Government appointees who had the chance to vote and confirm whether they want Hon. Paul Asamoah to be their District Chief Executive, voted yes to crown his endorsement as DCE of the district.

Speaking to the media, the newly elect District Chief Executive of Akyemansa District stated that, he will work hand in hand with both the Assembly and Unit committee members to bring developmental projects to the district.

“Also I will collaborate with the Member of Parliament in the area, Hon Kojo Oppong Nkrumah who is also the Deputy Minister of Information, to see how best we can develop the district”.

“My main priority is to help strengthen health care system and education system in the district”. He emphasized.

Hon Paul Asamoah said, he will make sure he’s able to assist the women in the district in their trading business.

He also urged assembly members to always avail themselves and gather the youth when there is time for communal labour.

He therefore took the opportunity to thank His Excellency Nana Akufo-Addo for having faith in him and also thank NPP executives, Chiefs and Member of Parliament for their warm reception and promised to work tirelessly with them to be able to achieve their quota.

On his part, Hon. Kojo Oppong Nkrumah who is Member of Parliament for the area, also congratulated the newly elect DCE and promised to work with him for the development of the area.
