Union Chairman cautions drivers on the intake of alcohol
The Chairman of Kejetia-Tarkwa drivers union, Mr.Moses Ofori, has cautioned drivers to abstain from the intake of excessive alcohol during festivities and beyond, that sometimes leave them intoxicated which cases unexpected accidents.
In an interview with Newslinegh.com, he lamented that, over speeding and other wrongful acts can lead to accident on the roads, therefore, urging them to abstain from alcoholic drinks and other harmful substances for a safer drive.
He continued that, Easter festival is meant for peace , love and unity, but not for the intake of alcohol and attending motels and stuff.
“Lets celebrate the death of Christ without alcohol to secure lives on the roads”. He reiterated.
Stating that, on occasions as such, people over enjoy themselves, doing all immoral activities ,which later brings shame and also abuses others right, leading to imprisonment. Reiterating that, abstenance is the best policy.
He also pleaded on members of the new created Forces to execise a little patience in being too much of a hurry to take over public offices and toilets facilities, which tends to tarnish the hard earned reputation of the president Nana Addo Dankwa Akoffo Addo.
