Ama Sey is a certified MP; Ghanaians must deal with it

The Deputy Greater Accra Youth Organizer for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Godwin Edudzi Tamakloe has said, Ghanaians should not ridicule the Akwatia MP for such a lame reason of not being able to express herself in the English language, reiterating English is just a second language and should not be reviled for it.

Godwin Edudzi Tamakloe writes…

I don’t see anything wrong with Hon Ama Sey.
Article 94 on qualification for Membership of Parliament doesn’t include literacy.

She is able to communicate for the purpose of her constituents and for the business of Parliament. Illiteracy or inability to speak English became an offence by the NPP.

Together with their media rents mocked and ridiculed anyone who is unable to express himself in the English language associated with the NDC.

They said the NDC is a party of illiterates. We have no problem with that.
We will gladly accept Hon Ama Sey.
Social justice is about inclusiveness.

When one NDC MP said,”tree under schools”,it became their ringtones.
Even when the respected President Professor Mills slipped when he delivered his first SONA, they made it appear as though Professor had never pronounced any word in English before.

A man who went to some of the best schools in the world.
They ridiculed him terribly.
If you want to follow the NPP ,you stand the risk of coming across as petty.
It is sad.
