Galamsey operators have invaded Tipokrom, a farming community near Asumura in the Asunafo north municipality of the Brong Ahafo region destroying crops and farm lands in search for gold.

Nana Kwabena Ntia ll, Chief of Tipokrom who confirmed this to a Goaso based Success News said, this is the second time the galamsey operators invaded the community.

He therefore urged the Ghana police services and Asunafo North Municipal Security Council to intervene.
