NDC gov’t still in charge till January 7 – Kwesi Pratt
The Managing Editor of the Insight newspaper, Kwasi Pratt Jnr has asked Ghanaians to keep reminding themselves that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) government will continue to work until January 7, 2017.
Kwesi Pratt Jnr made the statement in relation to comments from a section of the general public concerning recent recruitments and contracts being allegedly undertaken by the current government. He added that although the government is supposed to submit its handing over notes, it is still in charge until 7 January 2017.
According to Kwesi Pratt, no one can ask the NDC government not to work because elections have been conducted. He asked individuals to stop lobbying for ministerial positions and wait for the positions to find them.
Kwesi Pratt Jnr passed these comments in an interview with Kaakyire Ofori Ayim on Atinka AM Drive.
“There will be neither NDC government nor NPP government, there will only be one government. And there will be nothing wrong for the NPP government to appoint outsiders as ministers,” he reiterated.
