Majority leader Alban Bagbin has retained the Nadowli/Kaleo seat with some 6923 of valid votes cast, provisional results have suggested.

He is being pursued by the PNC’s Bernard Mornah who has so far garnered 1,917 of the ballot.

This is the 6th time Mr Bagbin is winning the seat on the ticket of the NDC.

Meanwhile, former radio personality Kojo Oppong Nkrumah is in a comfortable lead in the Ofoase Ayirebi parliamentary race with about 16,845 of the votes.
John Obiri Yeboah of the Progressive People’s Party (PPP) has so far polled 8,751 while the NDC’s representative Tom Kenneth Budu garnered 7,847 votes.
