‘Don’t take Kalyppo fruit juice to polling stations’ -NCCE appeals

Mr. Alhassan Yakubu, Ashanti Regional Director of the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) has appealed to the conscience of Ghanaians to desist from taking Kalyppo fruit juice which has become politically tainted to polling stations on the day of voting.

It could be a spark of political violence which could mar the electoral processes and derail the nation’s democratic gains.

He further, explained that anything with political colouration would not be entertained at the polling stations and therefore, advised against.

He charged all stakeholders in election to conduct their campaigns devoid of name calling and casting of insinuations which could be a recipe for disaster and koas.

They must educate their teeming supporter on the processes of voting and explained their manifestoes to the electorate.

He said this at a public sensitization programme in Kumasi.
